Perma Seal Technical Information

Perma Seal is the most affordable cartridge mechanical seal of its kind that
is value engineered for an easy installation, a great deal of versatility and
the highest performance expectation.

Advantages:
Non-Clogging- A patent pending elastomeric pack acts as a spring
and cannot be clogged.
FreeFrom Dynamic "O" Rings- The same elastomeric pack provides
a seal on the sleeve and cannot "hang-up".

Self Aligning - A patented self aligning stationary seat will invariably
position itself parallel to the rotating face.

Free From Harmonic Vibration - The elastomeric pack dampens
static and dynamic shocks associated with hydrualic load fluctuation
even at elevated R.P.M.

Hydraulically Balanced Design - Means increased performance
parameters and extended seal life.

Free From Setting Clips Or Tabs - One non-removable setting collar
allows the seal to run concentric and at the right working length.

True Running - A "soft footed" rotor gyroscopically aligns perpendicular
to the shaft axis.

No Leakage At The Stuffing Box Face - A patented feature enables the operator to stop most gland/stuffing box face leakage while the pump is running.
