Whenever we Overhaul any type of Air
Handler, our first focus is directed towards
the root
cause of the Failure / Malfunction.
A great deal of time and
effort is invested in making the unit more resilient,
physically stronger and
easier to operate and maintain.
Every aspect of the Air Handler is examined and evaluated
for a possible upgrade.
WHENEVER FEASIBLE WE WILL:
- Upgrade the size and quality of the bearings
- Improve the lubrication system by installing remote
grease lines
- Remove the fan wheel, clean it and re-balance it
- Upgrade the sheaves and belts so as to achieve a
more appropriate fan speed,
less slippage, greater
efficiency and an extended time between overhauls
- Upgrade the motor tensioning system to make it easier
to adjust and maintain
We always re-balance the fan on site
and take a base line vibration signature
for future reference
during subsequent maintenance visits.
